Since we know that you’ve been waiting all year to find out, we have some great news for you. We’ve been given a sneak peek of this year’s winners of Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Awards — and we’re here to share our finds with you. The complete list will be released in the August 31 issue of Wine Spectator, when it hits newsstands on July 21.
This guide, started in 1981, recognizes the world’s best wine lists and separates them into three categories — the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award, which recognizes restaurants that offer more than 1,000 selections, with outstanding selections in many of the world’s classic wine-producing regions.
While we didn’t get ahold of the Miami area restaurants that made the list, we did snag the winners of both Broward and Palm Beach County restaurants. And, for those who have some extra time, you can find all of the restaurants and their awards in WineSpectator.com’s Restaurant Search.
