For all of you craft beer lovers, you’ll be excited to hear that SweetWater Brewery will soon be available in South Florida. This Atlanta-based company has been slowly gaining ground in the Florida Market, starting with the panhandle and northeast Florida in 2011. The installation of a 250-barrel brew house and fermentation tanks was key to the expansion, as now they are able to keep up with the demand and make enough beer to supply the entire state. The expansion is planned for early May — and will start with their signature brew, SweetWater 420, being available on draft at select locations.
For those new to the SweetWater brand, they have been winning beer enthusiasts over since their official launch back in 1997. They are most well-known for their 420 Extra Pale Ale and now, they even have a festival dedicated to it — SweetWater 420 Fest. SweetWater is known for their aggressive style of hoppy, unpasteurized and fresh ales. Their spunky personality and aggressive style of beers will soon have you craving a sip of their Georgia Brown (smoother than a Bill Clinton apology); LowRYEder IPA; and Road Trip.
