Featured Cocktail: October Sunrise

What makes the perfect morning?  A morning cup of coffee, a blissful yoga session, a relaxed breakfast, catching up on the news .. we think it’s when the Fed Ex delivery man knocks on your door with a box  of goodies. Surprise!

Well, the surprise this week came in the form of miniature bottles, filled with Blue Nectar® Tequila, a 100% estate-grown, lowland tequila, available in Silver, Reposado and Reposado Special Reserve which made for a happy day. We were tempted to take out our Himalayan Salt Tequila Shot Glasses, but decided to be a bit more conservative — and whipped together a festive fall cocktail. Let’s call it the October Sunrise.

OCTOBER SUNRISE

1 oz. Blue Nectar ® Reposado Tequila 

3 oz. hard cider

¼ oz. crème de pêche

¼ oz. marmalade syrup

Chopped peaches and mint for garnish

 In a cocktail shaker add all liquid ingredients and ice.  Shake and strain into a mason jar.  Garnish with chopped peaches and mint and serve.
