Through July 30, Chef Daniel Boulud’s New York restaurant, Boulud Sud, has taken over db Bistro Moderne Miami for the summer, offering Côte d’Azur inspired Boulud Sud’s menu that includes cocktails.
Before tasting the dishes, I gathered around the bar with fellow invited media to sample the Boulud Sud Miami drink menu. My favorite, the St. Tropez Gin & Tonic, that was both spicy and aromatic.
ST. TROPEZ GIN & TONIC
Ingredients:
1 oz. Gin
½ oz. Lillet Blanc
¼ oz. Canton Ginger Liqueur
1 oz. Lemon Juice
¾ oz. Herbes de Provence Syrup
Splash of Tonic Water
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients, except Tonic water into a cocktail shaker
Shake well and strain over ice into a rocks glass
Splash with Tonic water
Garnish with a bouquet of herbs – Tarragon, Oregano, Thyme and Rosemary
