Love is in the air and it calls for a celebration. Area restaurants have created decadent menus that will have you calling for more. Here is our round-up of Valentine’s Day offerings at some of our favorites.
PALM BEACH COUNTY
Bistro 1001 (1001 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach; 561-803-1901) will offer a 4-course prix-fixe menu for $35 (excluding tax & tip) or $50 with wine pairings. Dinner will begin in the dining room and end with Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in the onsite garden. Highlights include a whole lobster with Celeriac Fondant; Pork Shank with brown butter herb spaetzle; and more. See the full menu here.
50 Ocean (50 S. Ocean Blvd, Delray Beach) will offer its “All You Need is Love!” prix-fixe menu. Chef Blake has created a 5-course prix-fixe menu for $75 or $95 with a 3-course wine pairing.
BRIO Tuscan Grille (locations in Boca Raton, Pembroke Pines and coming soon to West Palm Beach) is serving a specialty cocktail during the month of February called the Pink Pear Berry Martini with Absolut Pear, Chambord, fresh lemon juice, and cranberry juice for $7.
Cantina Laredo (4635 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens; 561-622-1223) will offer a special 3-course prix-fixe menu from February 9-16, 2013. Cost is $35 and $15 more for cocktail pairings. 501 Silks Run, Hallandale; 954-457-7662
Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant in Delray Beach will be offering their full menu on Valentine’s Day. The first 200 ladies will receive roses and Cava Drinks (cave sangria, glasses of cave & bottles of cave) will all be 50% off.
DiSalvo’s Trattoria (1760 N Jog Rd., West Palm Beach; 561-275-7000) will be serving their full menu in addition to some featured specials like Heart Shaped Fried Ravioli, Stuffed Beef Tenderloin and more.
Max’s Grille (404 Plaza Real, Boca Raton; 561-368-0080) will offer a 3-course menu for $38++. This includes an appetizer, entree and dessert.
The Office (208 E Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach; 561-276-3600) will serve a variety of a la carte Valentine’s Day specials from 3-11 pm on February 14, 15, and 16. Highlights include oysters on the half shell, grilled rib-eye steak with Fontina-whipped polenta and a seasonal fruit tart. All ladies will receive a long-stemmed red rose during the dinner hours.
Pinon Grill at the Boca Town Center Mall (6000 Glades Rd., Boca Raton; 561-391-7770) pinongrill.com will offer some featured Valentine’s Day specials like Prime Rib & Lobster Tails, White Chocolate Bread Pudding and more.
PRIME Steak Sushi Seafood (110 E Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach; 561-865-5845) will offer a 3-course menu for diners on Valentine’s Day, which will be paired with live entertainment. Cost is $75++ and includes Valentine’s themed options.
Max’s Grille (404 Plaza Real, Boca Raton; 561-368-0080) will offer a 3-course menu for $38++. This includes an appetizer, entree and dessert.
Prosecco Cafe (4580 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens; (561) 622-3222) and Saquella Cafe (410 Via de Palmas, Boca Raton; (561) 338-8840) will be celebrating all day long. For those advance planners, Prosecco & Saquella will be offering a special Valentine’s Day cake for just $18. In addition, complimentary bon bons will be given to all ladies and a special $29 prix-fixe menu will be offered).
RA Sushi (11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave, Palm Beach Gardens; 561-340-2112) is offering a few love-inspired dishes for guests to enjoy like the For the Love of Lobster Dish — a heart-shaped sushi roll — for $10 and a Berry Encumbered Refresher for $8. Both will be available from Feb. 14-17.
Texas de Brazil (11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave, Palm Beach Gardens; 561-293-7478) will be serving up a medley of Brazilian-inspired cocktails, their 50+ item gourmet salad bar and line-up of flame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken & sausage

Vic & Angelo’s (4520 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens; 561-630-9899) will be serving their regular menu on Valentine’s Day, along with holiday specials. Highlights include jumbo stone crabs, Seafood Ravioli Thermador and Filet Oscar. Vic & Angelo’s Delray (290 E Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach; 561-278-9570) is offering a special $85 3-course prix–fixe Feb. 14-16, along with their regular a la carte menus. Both restaurants will offer ladies, who dine at the restaurant on Valentine’s Day, a long-stemmed red rose.
MIAMI-DADE
BLT Steak at The Betsy (1440 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach; (305) 673-0044) guests can choose between la carte blackboard specials or a 3-course prix-fixe for $70++. Highlights include a Peekytoe Crab Salad, Jackman Ranch Wagyu Coulotte & Strawberry Pavlova.
Devon Seafood + Steak (11715 Sherri Lane, inside The Palms at Town & Country Mall, in Kendall; (305) 275-0226) will offer a special 3-course prix-fixe menu from Feb. 14-17, 2013 for $49++ per person or $90 per couple. Think Maine Lobster Bisque, Seared Sea Scallops with lobster risotto and Chocolate Lava Cake.
Dolce Italian at The Gale South Beach (1690 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; (305) 673-0199) wil host a romantic 3-course Valentine’s Day dinner with Italian classics & a glass of Prosecco for $75++. Think Filet Mignon with potato gratin, Black Truffle Ravioli and a Strawberry Tart with Chantilly cream.
The Dutch (inside the W South Beach Hotel & Residences, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; (305) 938-3111) will offer a special 3-course prix-fixe for $69++ per person. Think Roasted Beets with goat cheese, candied pistachio and grapefruit; Guinness-braised short ribs and more.
Mandarin Oriental (500 Brickell Key Dr., Miami; (305) 913-8358) will served Valentine’s Day dinner at both Azul & Café Sambal. Azul will offer a 5-course prix-fixe for $120++ per person with enticing options like Duck Tartar & Truffles and Lobster Medallions & Roasted Red Veal Loin. A 4-course dinner at Café Sambal will be priced at $80++ per person and include options like Lobster Bisque with seafood mousse; and 3-hour braised short ribs with Shitake mushroom risotto.
Meat Market (915 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach; (305) 532-0088) will offer a few Valentine’s Day specials this year, in addition to their regular menu. These include 6 Kusshi Oysters topped with cucumber sorbet and black bowfin caviar; a 14 oz Snake River Farms Kobe style gold filet with lobster; and more.
Oak Tavern Fine Food & Spirits (35 NE 40th St., Miami; (786) 391-1818), the new eatery by Chef/Owner David Bracha has a special 3-course prix-fixe planned for Valentine’s Day. Highlights include Baked Oysters with hollandaise and paddlefish caviar and a Mushroom Crusted NY Strip Steak.
Quattro Gastronomia Italiana (1014 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach; (305) 531-4833) will offer a 4-course Italian tasting menu for $80++ per couple with an optional wine pairing available for $40 per person. Highlights include Maine lobster medallion with fresh burrata and Beef filet grilled with balsamic demiglace and saffron roasted potatoes.
BROWARD
Cantina Laredo (501 Silks Run, Hallandale; 954-457-7662) will offer a special 3-course prix-fixe menu from February 9-16, 2013. Cost is $35 and $15 more for cocktail pairings.
Coco Asian Bistro & Bar (The Harbor Shops, 1841 Cordova Rd., Fort Lauderdale; (954) 525-3541) will celebrate Valentine’s Day with special menu items, including a 3-course dinner option, live entertainment (pianist Rich Hurt and vocalist Chris James), complimentary long-stemmed red roses and Valentine’s Day-themed decorations throughout.
Lola’s on Harrison (2032 Harrison St., Hollywood; (954) 927-9851) has a special 3-course prix-fixe planned for Valentine’s Day for $65++ a person. Maryland Blue Crab Cakes with carrot-mango slaw and Grilled Australian Lamb Rack with a cucumber-mint relish, fennel marmalade and a feta-yogurt sauce are highlights on the menu.

SAIA (999 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Fort Lauderdale; (954) 302-5252) will be serving up a 5-course Asian fusion menu with a glass of Champagne or moonstone sake for $179++ per couple. Seatings are available at 6:30, 8:00 and 9:30 p.m.
3030 Ocean (3030 Holiday Dr., Fort Lauderdale; (954) 765-3030) has a 5-course tasting menu planned for Valentine’s Day for $90++ per person or $130++ with wine pairings.
