Shake Shack fans in Palm Beach County, you are no longer going to have to trek down to Miami when you are craving a juicy burger, as they just announced they’ll be opening up in Boca. Shake Shack, developed by the Danny Meyer Hospitality Group, may have started off as a hot dog stand, but has since become a sought after place for burgers, hot dogs, frozen custard and more. When they opened up their first location Florida location back in 2010, it was all the rage — and now Boca residents, you can now add it to your dining routine.
The Boca location will be in a free-standing building in Boca Raton’s University Commons shopping center (1400 Glades Road across from FIU) and is projected to open in mid-2013. While they will serve the Shake Shack classics on the menu, they will also add frozen custard concretes with names and ingredients that scream”Boca Raton.”
