Earls Kitchen + Bar 7535 N. Kendell Dr at the Dadeland Mall; (305) 667-1786 Earls Kitchen + Bar will add some flavor to the Dadeland Mall on March 12th when they open their doors. This family-owned and operated independent restaurant will offer a selection of authentic global and seasonal dishes highlighting locally sourced ingredients. Those with food allergies or restrictions will rejoice, as many of these dishes can be customized to accommodate those with gluten free & vegetarian diets. In addition to the delicious food offerings, Earls will offer a spirited atmosphere and creative craft cocktails. Earls will offer lunch and dinner daily.
Bocce Wine Bar & Tapas, 1760 N Jog Rd, West Palm Beach; (561) 275-7000 Bocce Wine Bar & Tapas will bring small plates with bold flavors to west Palm Beach County when they open their doors on Fri., March 7th for dinner. Chef Wade Owens, who spent time working for some of the top restaurants in New York City (think Bouley and Alta) will offer a changing menu featuring rustic Italian cuisine with a modern twist.
Nick’s New Haven Pizzeria & Bar, 2444 N. University Dr (in the Royal University Plaza), Coral Springs; (954) 800-7603 Nick’s New Haven Pizzeria — best known for their White Clam Pie and Breakfast Pizza — will open their second location in South Florida in early April. The restaurant will serve a unique style of thin-crust pizza created in New Haven, Connecticut, call apizza, along with other regional specialties like Hummel hot dogs, Foxon Park sodas and a variety of pastas, entrees, coal fired grinders and fresh salads.
Yard House, 1681 Lenox Ave., Miami If you’re a beer lover, you’ll be happy to hear that Yard House recently opened their doors in South Beach. This location will offer 140 draft beer selections — including beers from local breweries; a full bar; and a lengthy menu of appetizers, salads, burgers, seafood, steak and ribs (all generously portioned), with many options for those seeking gluten-free or vegetarian dishes.
Tsukuro, 225 S. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Fort Lauderale; (954) 523-1407 Visitors to Fort Lauderdale Beach now have a new Asian restaurant to visit called Tsukuro, which means “where the moon meets over the water.” Overlooking the ocean, Tsukuro offers the perfect venue to people watch, while indulging in fresh sushi, sashimi and rolls, small plates like Korean Style Ribs and larger plates like Roasted Duck with oranges and anise.
Eating House Tartare at the Escalade Lounge at the Cadillac Championship at Trump Doral, 4400 NW 87th Ave., Doral. If you’re a fan of Giorgio Rapicavoli and Eating House, you’re going to want to make plans to head to Doral this weekend, as Eating House Tartare Bar will pop up at the Cadillac Championship for 3 days (March 6-9). This pop-up will be located inside the Escalade Lounge and offer both sweet and savory menu items like Salt Roasted Beets with yuzu, spring onion, cucumber & ginger vinegar; Hand-Cut Beef with black truffle, shallot & Jacobsen Sea Salt; and Apple Tartare with spiced streusel, vanilla ‘pudding’ and maple. Twenty Twenty Grille, 141 Via Naranjas, Boca Raton; (561) 960-7969. This newish restaurant is a recent discovery of ours and one that is soon to become a neighborhood favorite. Husband and wife team, Chef Ron and Rhonda Weisheit don’t miss a beat, as they fuse together contemporary American cuisine with Modern food art paying close attention to details in an intimate setting and cozy setting.
