There’s exciting news coming from The Breakers, and it’s the announcement of their new social drinking and dining experience. The concept — “Palm Beach cocktail culture.” This focus of the menu will be small plates and it will bring together flavors from around the world. There will also be an extensive cocktail menu — both classic and contemporary (It’s time to experiment and yes, you will enjoy these exotic flavor combinations) will be featured. They promise that this new eating and drinking experience will be unlike any other in Palm Beach.
What I find just as exciting, is the design element. The Breakers brought on famed hospitality designer, Adam Tihany (a design consultant for Peacock + Lewis Architects) to reinvent the Florentine Loggia (formerly Tapestry Bar & L’Escalier) so expect great things. For those that don’t recognize the name, Adam Tihany, you should recognize some of the restaurants that he has designed — New York’s Per Se, Jean Georges and Le Cirque 2000.
The restaurant is expected to open up in the Fall of 2012.
