Everyday is a food holiday — and whether you love it or hate it (you should love it), these holidays give you reason to celebrate and spend time indulging in a favorite treat. This month, National Ravioli Day takes place (March 20th to be exact), and South Florida restaurants are helping you fully celebrate this decadent day.
On Tues., March 18th, all South Florida BRIO Tuscan Grille locations will be kicking off the holiday a few days early by offering select ravioli dishes for 50% off (large pans and the children’s menu are excluded from the discount). Items that will be offered at a discount (reduced price listed) include:
- Crispy Cheese Ravioli Appetizer ($6) with horseradish & Pomodoro sauces
- Ravioli di Bello ($5.98 for lunch portion $7.73 for dinner) made with portobello mushroom ravioli served with cremini mushrooms, tomatoes, Parmigiano-Reggiano and fresh thyme in a brown butter sauce
- Ravioli Alla Vodka ($8.95) is ravioli filled with Ricotta cheese and served with pancetta, garlic, basil and a tomato cream sauce.
Reservations are recommended on National Ravioli Day and can be made by calling your local BRIO location.
Because you can never have too much ravioli, head on over to Cafe Prima Pasta on March 20th to continue the celebration. Upon arrival, guests will enjoy a complimentary bellini and an individual Fiocchi Rapera (a cheese and pear stuffed homemade pasta purse). After the free sample, guests can further indulge in one of Cafe Prima Pasta’s signature stuffed pasta dishes like the pasta pockets filled with crabmeat in a creamy lobster sauce, a spinach and ricotta ravioli with a rich vodka sauce; or any of the restaurant’s other dishes.
