When you bring tacos, margaritas and freshly made guacamole together, you instantly have a party — and it gets even better in May, with Cinco de Mayo on our minds. There’s no reason to limit your celebration to just one day (we’ll admit our celebration actually started in April), in fact, a month long party is the perfect amount of time.
With that on our minds, we were thrilled to open up the door last week and find a package from our friends at IMUSA waiting to be opened. IMUSA, known for their extensive line-up of Hispanic and other international housewares, does a wonderful job of adding a punch to any party — and this time, it’s all about Cinco de Mayo. We quickly unwrapped a quesadilla warmer, salsa serving cups and a lime squeezer — and our newest obsession, the Lava Rock Mocajete.
This rock-solid Mocajete will add authenticity to any party — and is the perfect tool for grinding fresh or dried herbs, extracting the essential oils; crush and blending ingredients; and is the perfect accessory to use when making fresh guacamole — and when the guacamole comes out, you know the party has begun.
