Gin & Jazz Soiree at The Traymore Restaurant and Bar
The Traymore Restaurant and Bar at the elegant COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach hotel, is hosting monthly Gin & Jazz events the third week of every month. The newly introduced soiree is taking place this Thursday, September 22nd, at 7PM, and is open to the public with free admission.
Each month, The Traymore Gin Bar collaborates with a premium gin brand which will be integrated in to an exclusive gin cocktail menu created by the hotel’s head mixologist, Alexis Sanchez. For September, Langley’s Gin of England will be matched with a special selection of tonic waters for a series of signature cocktails available on Gin & Jazz night.
During my invite to the preview last month, I especially enjoyed the MIA 75 cocktail made with Bulldog gin, sugar, lemon, bitters and Pommery Brut Royal.
As a longtime fan of The Traymore Gin Bar, I can recommend gin cocktail menu staples such as Traymore 1939 -made with Nolet’s Gin, Rosemary Syrup, Orange Curacao, Grapefruit, Pomegranate, and, Collins Park –made with St. Germain, lemon, watermelon and basil.
The bar also offers a series of gin flights for the true gin aficionado, including the Timeless Gin Flight, Modern Gin Flight and Adventurous Gin Flight , plus a wide selection of wines as well as both domestic and imported beers.
The jazz portion to accompany the gin will be from a local artist invited to perform a number of soothing classic and contemporary jazz songs. This month, Miami’s Ashley Pezzotti will enchant guests with her own cover versions that compliments The Traymore’s own serene ambiance.
Chef Juan Loaisiga will introduce a new selection hors d’oeuvres for the month as well as his dining menu to tempt seafood-loving guests. In addition, complimentary passed hors d’oeuvres will be featured as an ideal pairing for the Langley’s gin cocktail menu.
