If you ever need a reason for an all-day party, Cinco de Mayo is all that you need. From special menu offerings to live mariachis bands to free-flowing tequila, make this year one to remember.
Max’s Grille will get into the spirit on Cinco de Mayo with a party on the patio, taco shack and special menu. The taco shack will open up at 3:00 p.m. to get the fiesta started early. Customers will enjoy Mexican street food favorites like Mexican Street Corn ($4) with cream, lime, chili and queso; guacamole and chips ($4); assorted tacos ($4). Drink specials — like Tanteo Jalapeño Blood Orange Margaritas, Corona & Sangria will also be offered. Specials will also be offered inside the restaurant from 4:00-10:00 p.m. Highlights include Chipotle Lobster Guacamole ($18); Day Boat Swordfish with potato hash, sweet corn-habanero slaw & creamy tomatillo sauce; Carnitas Haciendas with Mexican rice and refried beans; and Chicken Enchiladas ($13) with roasted poblanos & corn will also be offered.

Cantina Laredo in Hallandale has a multi-day event planned beginning on May 2nd. On Dos de Mayo (5/2) $2 Dos Equis will be offered and continue throughout the weekend. On Friday, Y100 will be there and guests will have the chance to win a 2-night stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Key West. On May 5th, Cantina Laredo will hold a look-a-like contest for the “Most Interesting Man in the World.” The winner will go home with a $100 gift card to Cantina Laredo. In addition, DJ David Figueroa will be there to entertain from 2-9 p.m., — and there will be giveaways, body painting, raffles, a children’ s area, outside bars, $2 tacos, drink specials and more.

Toro Toro Restaurant & Bar, located inside the Intercontinental Miami, will celebrate all weekend long (5/3-5/3). During Happy Hour from 4:00-7:00 p.m., guests can enjoy $2 specialty tacos like Roasted Chicken with salsa Criolia, avocado and cumin creme fresco; Spicy Tuna with shaved lettuce and guacamole and more. In addition, a special $39 three-course prix-fixe will be offered.
